Since it's my first time in Washington state, I can't get enough apple trees. My region in Sonoma County specializes in the heirloom Gravenstein, so I have lots of respect for my uncle who had an apple farm for years. When we drive on the highway, he can distinguish all the different trees in the blink of an eye.
Here are pear trees:

They all look pretty much the same to me, but hopefully I'll learn a thing or two while I'm here.
